It is always thrilling for us to see our new patients, who step in our office for the first time. Your initial orthodontic appointment is about a watchful examination and a discourse about the most useful treatment options. This visit of half an hour is precious for us in giving an understanding about your orthodontic wants. We are aware of the value of your time, and hence to make the treatment process fast, we may reserve time for diagnostic records, after the examination. The diagnostic records involve impressions of study models, photos and x-rays; they are very useful in planning a correct treatment procedure. It will take around one hour for this extra appointment. 

The first examination of each patient involves the below-given questions by us, which cover the elementary orthodontic information. You too are requested to ask various questions.

• Has the patient any orthodontic requirement?
• Does the orthodontic requirement need to be immediately attended, or does it need time for enough maturation, tooth eruption, or some other factor?
• Which method of treatment will be executed to enhance the situation?
• Is there a necessity to remove any natural teeth?
• For what duration will the procedure continue?
• What are the charges of the process?

Along with answering these regular questions about treatment process, we consider typical areas too after heedful studying of diagnostic records. We consider that, it is essential to separate out each patient’s own wants, because the careful planning, thus done, gives excellent results and higher level of patient satisfaction.

We then organize a consultation meeting to discuss about treatment options, time needed and financial matters. We emphasize that our patients get a clear idea about their specified needs, the structure of the treatment and time duration of the treatment. In addition, we resolve any difficulties.
